Best New Songs

#24
Here are a couple from Harry Connick, Jr.'s latest album, Every Man Should Know:
2013

- Time to Go (Waltz)
- One Fine Thing (Foxtrot)

The title track is a waltz, too, although a bit on the fast side.

I'd be curious to see if your college kids could handle doing a quickstep to Problem by Ariana Granda and Iggy Azalea on the My Everything album. It was released in April 2014.

LOL I don't think quickstep will happen until late October but I will try and make that happen for you ;) Maybe I'll even secret a video...

Life's being all crazy with the start of school, but when I get a chance to sit down and comb through my lists, I'll share some, Meagan!

Also Ed Sheeran's two new songs, Sing and Don't, are great WCS.
When I first heard Don't on the radio the first thing I thought was "I can't wait to see the WC Jack n Jills that come out of this!!"
We should keep this going. I think everyone needs a new playlist every now and then.
Oh definitely!! Plus our new songs will hardly be new in a couple months :)

To add to the list some of mine (although I'm truly bad at this):

Cha:
Steve Akoi
Delirious Boneless
Year:

Hideaway by Kiesza (once it gets going)
Year: 2003

Hustle: (heard someone play this remix at a social for hustle)
Take Care Remix by Rihanna ft. Drake
Year:2011

And cause time is running out on this one, it may have already passed the 2 year requirement but its still on the radio so... ;)
Rumba:
When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars
Year: 2011

Here's another waltz: . I wouldn't say the song was 'new' exactly (first recorded in 1972), but it's a new rendition by from her Everlasting album released in April 2014.

Waltz
Martina McBride
If You Don't Know Me By Now
2014
