Seems like several DF members are going... who will be there what days? Shoudl we try for a group meet-up?

I'll be there competing on Saturday, and in town Friday night through Sunday eafternoon, most likely.

Getting in Friday night, dancing on Saturday, leaving Sunday.

Anybody else only dancing on Saturday evening? My partner and I were considering exploring the city during the day and finding some place for brunch.

We are not going :(
BUT you will love Montreal! Beaver Hall is great, and so is Le Gros Chambon (very retro) for lunch on the weekend. Both walkable, btw

Heat lists and final schedule are up, for those that are going.

With that info, and the info people posted above, I think we have three options for a DF meetup:
1) Friday night
2) Saturday at around dinner time - during the break in the schedule
3) Sunday morning

Have a look at the final schedule, and let me know if the time/day preferences have changed!

Oh, I'm so jealous! Please can somebody who will be there on Thursday night give me an overview of Sergey and Melia's show? I just wanna know which numbers they dance, so I can figure out if there's anything that I haven't seen yet! I'd be so grateful! This is literally the only thing they're doing this whole year that I won't be there to see.

Ok all, I suggest a DF meet-up during the dinner break on Saturday, at about 5:30pm. Let's meet in the hotel bar, which if memory serves, is just one floor up from the ballroom, at the top of the escalators.

See you tomorrow!

Here Wednesday, till Sunday afternoon.
Running around with the camera, so come say "Hi" if you see me, or you will be caught in an "fancy" position later on that floor :)
Nickel's is one of our favourite for Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch, Dinner & Night Snack
Surkov's show? mmmmeh... I tend to see top couples not bothering to be creative much, but dancing is definitely good.
If you're at the comp Saturday night, watch the showdance category. You might like it ;)

Any comments on what they actually danced? I saw the pictures from Paso and Rumba so I know about those already, but I just wondered about the others? Guessing the army Cha Cha, Elvis Jive, which Samba? Michael Jackson or Moliendo Caffe? Would appreciate any info at all that you can give. I'm not obsessed with them or anything, I swear!
