roasted veggies (carrots, celery, orange bell pepper, onion, green beens and diced potatoes (in one can of lowfat cream of mushroom soup and some low sodium soy sauce and cracked black pepper), whole wheat pasta w/ cucs, diced canadian bacon and pistachios in a pear gorgonzola dressing...water...black cherry jello later ...and some homemade chicken salad for dh
right...the poor waiter came rushing up and asked if there was a problem with it and I (in agony) am like, "no dude, it's fabulous...you make the best margarita around ...I just can't drink it for some reason"....broke my heart to leave it sitting there, wish they had doggie bags for those things....so, if you happen to see the 4 horsemen, run like hell
Beefburgers, chips and baked beans (I'm British, by the way: let me know if translation is ever needed!). Quite a late dinner after a touch rugby training session. Not the healthiest, but it was appreciated.
Went to Frankie & Benny's last night, for a friend's stag party, so it was a bit of a monster. The six of us started with a sharing platter between us: lumps of Southern-fried chicken, garlic bread, wings, potato skins with cheese and bacon, calamari, celery sticks and onion rings. I followed this with a steak sandwich with pesto nut mayonnaise, onion relish and fries. Om nom nom.
It's a good job we're all sporty. It's nice to be able to do justice to an occasion like that.
