Ganchos and wrong spots...

lol. I suppose so, I'm sooooo not even going there with my teacher! "I think I'd like to work on AT today, and I know my ganchos need work...are you prepared, or do need a minute?" lol.

I've often thought they should make steel toed (titanium, as it's lighter?) dance shoes specifically for teachers. Or, for my poor teachers, back-o-the-ankle guards.

Only if you want me to dance standard foxtrot or waltz with me. I don't do it at any other time, really. And usually I'm the one getting my toes stepped on--one of my teachers considers it a good teaching tool for making me not cut my steps short. lol, he's right.

In AT, with one leader in particular, I actually tend to dance with my feet slightly underneath his when we step. Don't know why, but it always happens that way, and it's never been a problem.

Granted, when it comes to AT, you might hve to be careful when dancing with me for other reasons...

So if I add that to my repertoire, will I be any more likely to find a consistent partner?

I won't ask why AT is dangerous with you. Maybe one day I'll find out, and I love surprises....

Waltz-tango-foxtrot???

I KNOW there was another post here from Ampster saying he wanted to dance with me. I hope the lack of post isn't a retraction--I'd be very hurt! ;-)

Dangit.

Uh...probably not. ;-) Like I said, it's one of my teachers who does that to me. It's a very effective reminder, I must say. I wish my other teacher would do the same thing instead of stopping and pointing it out--the pain lasts longer than my memory when I'm trying to think about other things.

lol, I've got no clue, really. I should have put *insert sexy, sultry, man-appraising, head-to-toe-to-linger-slightly-below-waist-level-to-head glance, accompanied by come-hither smile* after that.

I think it's time for me to make a nice little circuit around the US to dance with various AT-guys...Sagitta, Ampster, you...

Actually, I was lining you up for a tanda in the future. I don't do very much Standard Waltz or Foxtrot. But I'll do American Waltz or Foxtrot with you....

So much the better. I'd love to dance a tanda with you!

I wouldn't say I suck any less at American style, though.

Oops, Yes there was. I was doing an edit, got distracted and hit the delete.

In any case. I said that given the opportunity, I would love to dance a tanda or two... with you

Okay, that--accompanied by an appropriate dress and hot tango shoes, would totally turn me to mush.

Would you prefer a cherry red satin Marilyn Monroe style dress, or black velvet cut-up-to-THERE dress with long fringe?

What? *blinks innocently*

I'm tempted to add DH's line--They both look fabulous crumpled up on the floor in the morning. lol.
