What Do You Bring to Your WCS Classes?

Most of us carry shoe bags when we go out dancing or to classes.

Furthermore, many of us carry another bag of goodies to classes, camps, workshops, etc. What do you bring?

I'll start you off . . .

-dance shoes(2 pair), although I wear dance sneakers to the classes
-one or two changes of shirts in case I sweat too much
-a white hand towel
money for water, soda, eats afterwards
-DF business cards
-notebook/pen, sometimes a video camera
-those little Listerine breath sheets
-"Cool Water"
-hand gel to keep my hand germ-free and soft

Many times this bag stays in my truck until an item is needed.

Nothing, as I don't go to swing classes!! (ROTF

For my Tuesday nights:DF business cards and pen (When I need to write something down for someone I use the back and hand it over -- that way I'm sure they will take the card and keep it.), water, spare socks, yogurt, V8, concentrated gatorade, milk, a sandwich?... And I take it in with me. :)

To my classes I take:

2+ bottles of water
Small hand towel
Listerine breath strips
Sugar free mints
Shoes plus a alternate pair
Shoe brush
Hand Lotion
Anti Stinky spray

a baseball cap, a white t-shirt and a pack of smokes to roll up into one of the sleeves? :)

shoes (brush)
water
towel
spare shirts (i perspire freely)
altoids
knee brace

i don't leave $ in the bag - folks may be trustworthy, but why tempt them?

I have been lucky!! I leave everything on my chair - credit cards, money, driver's license... :D
i've had money taken out of my wallet once - at a contra dance of all places! i'm pretty sure i know who it was; the person was a relative of some regulars and was visiting from out of town. and those regulars avoided making eye contact with me for the next 6 months or so. whatever. i got off cheaply enough for the lesson learned.

I feel like sharing. I went to a swing dance once, all zooted up and carrying a VIOLIN CASE.
Inside I had a change of shirt and a water bottle.
The voilin case was on loan from a friend, but another time I did the same thing with my saxophone [alto] case.

Normally I just carry my wingtips and a bottle of water. Stuff like pad o' paper & pen are naturally in my jackets. In place of a hand towel, btw, I use a clean white hankerchief kept in my back pocket which I frequently mop my brow with. ;P
