Ralph said:Who here has some James Bond songs in dance version? They're a bit different from the originals of course. I mean songs like GoldenEye for the rumba, Goldfinger for the Tango, etcetera.
mamboqueen said:Yes, I just recently saw a formation team in SF do a routine with one, and Jean Marc and France also have a showpiece they do, although I'm not familiar with what songs go with what movies.
cornutt said:Another suggestion: The Peter Gunn theme isn't James Bond per se, but it's from the same era and has a similar enough feel that people sometimes confuse the two. It makes an good ECS and a slightly fast WCS. The original version is by Duane Eddy and can be found on various rock-instrumental collections. Or, for something different, check out the Eddy/Art of Noise version on The Best of the Art of Noise collection.

delamusica said:I've heard a really sexy rumba version of Goldfinger - next time I'm at the studio I'll try to figure out who recorded it.
Keelzorz said:I have one incredibly-sexed version of "Goldeneye" as a fantastic rumba, recorded by Tina Turner. Could that be the same song?
