Apparently, peter and kristina are going to be competing as pros in blackpool? I am not sure about this....but if they do, this year's blackpool will be even more competitive than last! How exciting.

1. Bryan/Carman
2. Slavik/Elena
3. Michael/Joanna
4. Sergey/Agnieszka
5. Andrei/Katarina
6. Peter/Kristina or Franco/Oxana

And I think Maurizo/Melinda for the Amateur?
 
I think it will be:

Bryan & Carmen
Slavik & Elena
Michael & Joanna
Andrej & Katarina
Sergey & Melia
Peter & Kristina (or maybe Max & Yulia. I don't think Franco & Oxana are quite ready for the finals yet, based on what I have seen)

I agree that Maurizio & Melinda will win Amateur Latin.

It will be interesting to see whether Jonathan and Katusha can beat Tim and Joanne into second place in the ballroom, as they did at the UK open.

I can't wait for Blackpool and good luck to everybody!
 
Eugene and Maria could win but they have to pull out all the stops because Maurizio/Melinda have been consistently placing above them in the last few major competitions. I feel so frustrated for Eugene and Maria because this is finally their year to win after the Stokkebroes turned pro but Maurizio/Melinda are very strong contenders for the title.
 
It is quite unlikely in my opinion max/yulia will be in the finals. If anything, Klaus/Victoria will prob have a higher chance.

Are Klaus and Viktoria competing? I didn't know that - yes I would definitely predict that they would place above Max and Yulia.

I doubt that Max/Yulia would be in the finals too. Yulia is a standout for me but Max is up against men who are technically and artistically far superior. Klaus/Victoria, Stokkebroes, and Franco/Oxana would all be fighting for the last place in the finals. I am really hoping that Sergey/Melia would place above these three couples but then again, they used to place below the three couples in Amateurs. Hmmmm.....

Franco is obviously the best male of the three, but I think Oxana is significantly weaker and less experienced than the other females, which is why I think there might be a chance they could be beaten by the couples you named.

Perhaps they have progressed a lot since I saw them on youtube??
 
I love Joanna and think she is an amazing dancer, but I also feel the same about Slavik. I also like watching both couples as partnerships. I am therefore completely torn at every competition they both enter!
