Dance on the Web

I really should read dance magazines more often. While I was reading one today, I found some ads for dance continuing education courses on the web. So I started thinking about dance ... on the web. There's a lot of dance stuff out there on the web. Step lists. Dance history and descriptions. Music lists and suggestions.

But dance is a physical act.

So what is the role of dance on the web? And what are the limitations? What's the value of dance ... on the web?[/b]

Oh yeah. And I know of twenty dance studios. About five of them have web sites. The other fifteen don't. Is the web/computer literacy coming late to the dance world? Why? Is it irrelevant? Could computers have a positive impact? How? How not?
