How many pairs of dance shoes do you own?

I've only got one pair of Latin shoes, but am about to buy a second pair for ballroom, but am tossing up between those and a gorgeous pair of tango shoes for AT, a pair of closed-toe ballroom shoes and Bloch runners for another style I dance.

How many pairs do folks have, one for all styles, none or a couple of multi-purpose pairs?

I actually have a shoe fetish . . . but for dancing, I have 3 men's tango shoes with varying heel heights in smooth, textured, and a velvet-like finish . . . 5 pairs of dance sneakers - all black . . . 1 pair of flat lace-up shoes with leather heels and soles . . . and 2 pair of Evening Star dance boots for competing in C&W . . . and many, many pairs of those jazz practice shoes for dancing on our dance floor that I bult in our third-car garage.

Just my capiezo sneakers...that's it. I buy nice shoes with 100% leather bottoms to dance in. I don't want to have to change shoes when I get to a club.

I have two pair of latin shoes that I alternate and wear to class, and one old ripped and repaired pair that I use for home practice.

  A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. I'm trying not to buy any new ones for a while. A local high school dance team needs shoes, so when I see sales for the next few months, I'll satisfy my need to buy shoes by buying shoes to donate to needy kids. I definitely don't need any new ones, myself.

Hmm, just one pair, my trusty Capezio oxfords. I would like to get a second pair that was more like a sneaker as I dislike having to change shoes sometimes.

21 pairs...I wonder who has the most on DF? It may be you Pygmalion!
:P

I have just 2 pairs! One black patent leather closed toe, by Paul Wright (much too expensive for the quality!)
and a pair of open toe sandals by Very Fine Shoes...I fully reccomend those to anyone! Talk about comfort and style!!! I have ordered myself another pair in bronze (have the flesh color)

Both shoes have suede soles..I prefer them.

Id have 50 pairs if I could! But at $115 for the VFS and $145 for the PWs its a bit expensive

Three pairs for me...one dressy closed-toe, one informal open-toe, and a pair of soft sole jazz-type shoes I never really use much. I take my good shoes into a shoe repair shop every few months to get re-sueded (is that a word???). They only charge me $4.00 for the pair - pretty cool! I'll probably buy one more pair of shoes soon, if I can.

Well, let's see... I got a pair of open-toe and closed-toe sandals (Freed and Gamba), Capezio dance sneakers, and Champion practice shoes. That's 4 pairs so far.

I'll probably get a pair of Supadance standard shoes and another pair of Latin in tan satin color. Seems like those are popular these days, no? :? After that, I'll have 6 pairs.

*sighs* Can't really beat anyone who's got say 4x what I could have. :( But that's ok.
