John Lindo for WCS?

I've seen him dance. He's good. I've never taken a class from him though. I just never really had the chance.

He's giving three workshops. I think I'll email the person arranging it and ask for details. If he's giving a beginning class, maybe I'll take just that one. I don't think I'm ready for complicated variations.

John Lindo is good. Everyone whom I know says that he is great. One of my swing instructors who is really into west coast has organized two weekends with him coming down to our area.

Another thing....John Lindo is a big man... Who is it that was talking about their body image and feeling that they are not right? You just see this guy dance, and even if you don't really know anything about it WCS you will be blown away at the beauty of the dance. :) Like the big mamas of salsa in NYC? these are people whom people should take a look at it they feel that they are not the right shape/size/height etc. Awe inspiring!!

John Lindo is the man.

I had seen West Coast before, but it wasn't until I saw him dance that I had to learn the dance. No more putting it off. He is an excellent teacher, breaks things down clearly and has a passion for the dance and it is contageous.

Wow! He is generously proportioned. I could tell that from his head shot, but my oh my. Seeing him dance should be great. Maybe I'll spend the extra fifteen bucks to get a video pass for the day.

I'll let you know how it went. I'm really excited about it. :D
After classes he does go cool off, but loves to come back and dance . . .

Go up and ask him to dance, Jenn . . . it'll be a treat . . . no matter what your level of WCS is . . . you'll do fine!

There's a dance after the workshops, from eight to midnight. I can't stay for the whole thing, because I have salsa date. But I will stay long enough to do some dancing and try out the new moves I've learned. 8) :D

Enjoy, enjoy!

If you are not hooked on WCS yet . . . this should do it! WCS is for those that have 'soul,' and I'd give a hundred-to-one that you are one that has it!

I love this quote from John's site:
Swing is about dancing and having fun and if you don't have it in your heart that you want to enjoy it, but rather that you want to take lessons because you want to beat somebody, then you are dancing for the wrong reason."

And when you are around John, you will see that he is living that statement.
