Does anyone know?

Hi everyone,
I have always wanted to learn how to dance and I am considering starting lessons. I would really like to do the type of dancing that the pompon girls in high school do...It just looks actually fun. What kind of dance is it called that is most similar to this? Jazz? Hip-Hop? Does anyone know?

Pompom girls? Don't they do a kind of revisited french can-can?

uhm do you mean cheerleaders.. they ussually use pompons. ithink thats how they call those colorfull things they use. google is mans best friend

I wonder if Steven is merging the cheerleaders and the school dance teams in his(our) mind(s). Two seperate groups, but there are members common to both. The dance team tends to do stage performance, some times at basketball games, never at football.

The school dance team in my area are doing a sort of modern-jazz-hip-hop hybrid for most of their performances.
