Dancer's Affirmations

Does anybody have any good affirmation for dancers......?

I am sure some of us could use these right now.

*I should really have a couple here to start off :oops: .....*
 
Sure!

1. I will get out and dance more!
2. I will walk over and ask that mysterious lady to dance that I keep admiring from across the room!
3. I will remember to smile and make good eye contact!
4. I will save the money I need to attend the West Coast Salsa Congress in May! :P
5. I will never be a member of any clique (except DF!). :D

I like my affirmation in the present tense, rather than future. For some reason, they work better for me that way.

I am an awesome dancer.
My turns are precise and quick.
I have beautiful arm styling.
 
Hmm dont know if I have any worthy affirmations, but one quote immediately springs to mind is:

Dance 'til you drop.......and then some!

:lol: :lol: I always think of that after a couple of waltzes (why is one of the slowest dances the most exhausting?!)

Because you take a step for every beat while for many others you can rest some beats. :)

Mine is "I am a dancer".

And I add:

I will not allow relative inexperience with a specific dance stop me from dancing in a social situation

I dance a particular way because the music and my heart tells me to, not a textbook

I will be adventurous on the dance floor

I will bring out the best in my partner, I will smile liberally and compliment them like mad
