Dancers in Florida

Are there any dancers in Florida. I'm new to the forums and live in Florida. I just started Ballroom dance and was just wondering who was from my neck of the woods.

As somebody who plans on eventually getting a place around Lake Worth, Lantana, or Clearwater, I'd be curious about what you hear. You might want to check into your local Dance USA chapter for some contacts.

Naples to the south of you here

Lived birth - age 25 in Brandon/Dover area(Hillsborough County...about an hour from Orlando). Didnt discover ballroom until I moved north of Atlanta, though. Still kicking myself over that one.

Found out after I got into dance here that close friends of my parents knew a couple who ballroom dance and went to our church! I was so close.....oh well. Hindsight's 20/20!

Still...if only I'd gotten into it sooner! What a waste of time the past 31 years have been! (sigh)

Also in Central Florida

I'm also in Central FL, member of USA Dance and hoping to find a partner to dance with. Most here seem to be couples. It's difficult! Any suggestions?
