Hi guys!
I've just started dancing with a friend who hasn't had as much experience as I've had. While I'm pretty confident as regards technique in rhythm, I have a harder time in smooth, maybe because when I'm not looking at my partner I have no idea what the lady is supposed to do. So I'm having a hard time making suggestions about her position in smooth. I want to get her working in closed position (we're working on foxtrot now), and I know what feels right but I have no idea how to convey that.
Anything you can suggest about the ladies position in foxtrot would be helpful.
