Nothing that has been done to me, personally, but I remember quite a number of years ago, there was a special on TV about conspiracy theories, based around the moon landing and JFK's assassination. They went through the whole program with the most unbelievable theories, drew everyone in and then in the last minute announced the entire program as an April Fools joke. :shock:
Of course the joke was on them as it was televised that night, and not before the midday deadline that all pranks are supposed to adhere to!

Well, there's one thing I always wanted to do but never got around to it, and since my current dance teacher is well acquainted with my twisted sense of humor, I'd never fool her--even though I've got a lesson on Thursday.
But here's the idea. The studio I used to dance at was big on recruiting guests, for which we'd get free lessons. And they sometimes pushed us to practically pull people in from off the street.
So what I wanted to do was have one of my actor friends dress up in a long coat and a wool hat and come in unshaved. My first words to my teacher, "This is my guest. I met him outside the Kroger."
It would only work if I could get a lot of the other teachers and of course the management in on the gag. But it's something I'd like to try out one of these days.
The other thing--only I don't teach classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. But I want one of my cop friends to come in on one of my classes and bust me in front of the students. Just before he arrests me, he takes an envelope from my pocket and puts it on the desk. As I'm being led out of the room, I tell one of my students, "Open that envelope, after I'm gone, and do what it tells you."
In the envelope is a note: "April Fool. Class dismissed. Have fun."

Looks like you were right about the Noon thing, dancin_feet. Hmm. The things you learn on a so-called dance web site. LOL. Funstuff has its uses. 8)
