DSOL shoes

I recently found the DSOL website and was very impressed with their prices - especially since they have an overstock section that has shoes for under $40. So, here's the question: has anyone ever bought shoes from them and how are they as far as comfort and quality go?

I've ordered several pairs from them. They are not the best quality shoes, but very good value and durable. I use them mostly for practice shoes, but have used them for competition as well.

Had friends who wore them and they were fine, but not as high quality as some of the biggies (supadance, ray rose, etc). More along the lines of Very Fine. Think it is one of those cases of you get what you pay for and will they work for you. Not everyone wants to spend $150+ on each pair of dance shoes.

then they suck if they take customers' money and not ship merchandise! can't believe people could conduct in business like that.

Well it was really at least 6 years ago. I would hope/assume they have cleaned up their business since then... but out of prinicple I won't order from them.

I don't blame you, I would be really upset if people take $$ from me and not deliver product. Just bad business reputation and lost customer confidence.

I have ordered 4 times now from ballroomdancingshoe.com they are along the same lines of DSOL. I have always gotten my shoes under $60.00 and in 4 to 6 days. free shipping. I recommend them ... as I am on a budget and honestly have gotten some great compliments on my shoes.

My wife and I both have DSOL and have had no problems with the shoes, or service. We are relatively new [just over 1 year of lessons] so that is a factor.

One nice thing I heard about DSOL (I believe this is the Co.) they can fulfill unique shoe requirements. I know of someone who required the two shoes be different sizes I believe, and/or with a special heel and they were the only place that would accomdate her needs.
Even though the quality may not be up there with the top names, it sounded like their flexibility helped her immensely. I've never bought or used their products so I have no first hand experience.

Last months I bought a pair of penguin swing dance shoes for show dance as well as two latin shirts. I had already have a penguin swing shoes by a famous makerbut i was not happy with it because it is in dull matt texture. MY shiny DSOL shoes were cheap and fit better than the more expensive brethren; it came from China. The latin shirts were also superb, the better than anything i bopught from China, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.

By the way...not to toot my own horn, but i guess i am ;)
I sell Very Fine shoes in my ebay store, but only the nicer Signature and C Series which are quite nice (not the junky ones they're typically known for).
If you're interested I have a link in my signature :)

I don't find mens penguin swing shoes in your store. In addition, I amtrying tobuy red Latin shoes. Several yrs ago, I saw Allan Tornsberg, dancing with Lecca, and more recently Deilan, wearing totally red out fit with a pair of red Latin shoes. I was so impressed with the red outfit, I have a red suit made. Now I need a par of good red Latin shoes, but I have problem in finding one anywhere including your store.

I do not have my entire selection in my store as the ebay fees eat me alive
By penguin shoes I'm assuming you mean black & whites? I do have those. Any men's or ladies shoes can be custom ordered in any fabric the company has available, which includes red.

I will PM you some men's styles
