In Desperate Need of Assistance

Hello all,

I'll start by apologizing if this is the wrong location for this thread.

I am in need of some help--I am getting married on the 7th of November, and the song for our first dance is "Everybody Loves Somebody" by Dean Martin. The issue I am running into is that I do not know what sort of step fits this song. I can do a decent job at most of the regular steps -- waltz, foxtrot, two-step, etc; but I am in need of a little guidance on this one. Of course, I'm unable to find it anywhere on the internet, so I was hoping someone on the forum might be able to point me in the right direction.

Thanks all!

For simplicity's sake, since the wedding is Nov 7, it's a Foxtrot.
Had you more time, I'd say West Coast Swing.

Excellent--I was hoping you all would say foxtrot--I just couldn't feel the beat without some reassurance... thanks again.

I think this would be a challenge if you are dancing social foxtrot SSQQ, although I've danced a version that walks on the two quicks and step taps on the slows that I think would work welll.

Not so bad if you are doing continuity foxtrot SQQ

Congratulations on your wedding. I hope all goes well.

And welcome to DF.
