Hey guys,
Want to know how to boost your learning curve in
salsa dancing?
Ok, this is the thing...
Let's say you practice your moves and steps 1 time per
week for a month...
That means that you will have practiced 4 times for any
given month.
Now let's say you go out 2 weekends, so that would come
to a total of 6 times in a month that you actually *do*
some dancing, or practicing...
Side Note - At this point it really doesn't matter if
it's dancing or practicing at home, the important thing
is that you're actually doing something with what you've
been learning.
Ok, so in a month you'll gain the experience of someone
who has practiced 6 times...not bad, but...
Let's say that instead of 1 time per week, you practiced
3 times per week...say Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday.
In just 2 weeks, you will gain the experience that you
gained before in 1 month, you cut your time by half.
Take that a step further, and in 1 month, you'll have
2 months of experience, in 6 months it would be like
gaining the experience of 1 year...
Do you see how powerful that is?
By simply doing more of what you need to do, you will
be ahead of the average person.
Why?
Because you are no longer doing average things.
You're doing more...
So why is this important?
Because to really advance in salsa dancing, or anything
for that matter, if you schedule yourself to do more
in the same amount of time, you'll gain huge momentum.
And in learning, momentum is key.
And notice that I didn't even count the times you may
go out to a club and dance...
Add that to the mix, and you're really making progress
by leaps and bounds!
