Which is better -- American Men or French?

A large contingent of ladies from the UK attended one of our big swing conventions (I'm being deliberately vague).

These ladies travel all over the world to dance -- and France is one of their main destinations.

They told us that American men are far better to dance with than French men. Reason: American men are trained to focus on the lady to make her beautiful and happy. French men are too focused on themselves.

I'm proud that British ladies recognized how hard us American guys work to make dance good for ladies. In the USA we still do some things way better!!! :p
 
is there a question in this?...because, if not, it probably belongs as a post in happy and random thoughts rather than a whole new thread
