Difficult Words for a One Handed Typist

Here is a thread for someone who is really bored. What words are most difficult to type with only one hand? I would expect difficult words would involve having to move the greatest amount of distance between letter in the word. So my challenge is to see who can come up with the word that involves the greatest amount of total ditance for all letters. Obviously, a longer word would be more likely to have a greater total distance, but I think you should also consider how many large "key jumps" they have.

Here is am example I came up with:
LAMENT
L to A 8 key jumps
A to M 7 key jumps
M to E 6 key jumps
E to N 5 key jumps
N to T 3 key jumps
Total: 29 Key Jumps
1 "key jump" is defined as moving from one key to a touching adjacent key.
The "Key Jump Index" is defined as the number of Key Jumps divided by the number of letters. So LAMENT has and Index of 4.8. Who can come up with the word with the highest Key Jump Index?

How about "PALATIAL"?
P to A 9 key jumps
A to L 8 key jumps
L to A 8 key jumps

just the words PAL or LAP would be better at 8.67

anything longer such as SLAP will be lower at 8.0

PA is probably the longest at 9.0.

So who can get the highest Index on a word with 6 or more letters?

Here's a news flash. Every word is difficult for a two-handed typist who never learned touch typing ... Not that I would know anything about it, of course. :lol:

i had hope for words like malaria, malaprop, etc.

"paleozoic" would have been good except o & i are adjacent 51/9 = 5.66
"malaysian", like "lapdog"also score a 5.66
"lapsus" also seemed to the best: 35/6 5.83

until i got an email from a friend named: "pamela" 37/6=6.166

i doubt you'll find much anything else > 6.0

so do i get a free t-shirt?
