Before this thread gets hijacked, which I bet will happen before I finsih writing this post . . .
We are lacking a consistent saturday fix.
We are lacking dj's that play "popular" salsa.
Let me explain. In the scene here many of the popular songs are popular because the DJ's play it and not really the other way around. I would like it if our dj's would play just a "tad" bit more of the mainstream popular good salsa(read: more than none).
We may not like it all but the popular music is popular for a reason, there are lots of good songs that I rarely hear in the clubs and would absolutely love.
Case in point: I have only lately(last couple of weeks) started hearing "no le pege a la negra" in the clubs, that song has been around for alot longer than that.
