It is "pretty good", I think. It is like a "William Tell", where the people have been "asleep" for how ever long they had disappeared for and when they were returned to earth, they looked/stayed the same, but their friends, families etc had all grown/changed during the course of the time.
There is one guy who was in one of the wars in the 50s (?) and had a sweetheart/girlfriend. (I think they were planning on getting married.) When he returns to earth, one of the other returnees is the GRANDDAUGHTER of his girlfriend. His girlfriend, I guess, assumed he was killed/MIA and got married and carried on with her life. The time span differs for each abductee and what is also interesting is that for some of the ones the show is following, they have supernatural/unexplained powers. One guy was very strong, another one seems to have the gift of giving/taking life, an eight year old girl is psychic... and that is all I can remember just now. In addition, there are the problems with these people readjusting to society/their familiesn and catching up or not, on what they missed during the years they were abducted.
Oh, and one of the questions in the programme, apart from where did the people go/what happened to them, is why they were returned when they did and altogether ie. were they returned for a particular purpose/event?
It is on again tomorrow night I think!
(Incidentally, when spoken, it is "The fortyfour hundred" and not "The four thousand four hundred)
