What Age?!?!?!?!?

I started partner dancing when I was 14 (WCS)... Did ballet when I was younger, plus MANY years of fairly intensive gymnastics, acting, and other performing arts, so I had the body awareness, showmanship, strength and flexibility when I started partner dancing... It helped!
I still wish I had started younger though!

I started ballroom when I was 43, having never done anything remotely like it before. In fact, before I started doing it, I had no concept of what ballroom dancing actually was.

I didn't start until my mid fifties - so no one can ever say they are too old.
Didn't start with it, my really love west coast now.

I started ballroom dancing at 25. I did not have any dance lessons before that, but when I was growing up, we did freestyle dancing at parties.

I started at 6-7 years with ballet and gimnastics (if it's counted... but it helped a lot! ) and then the next years I started to dance... almost everything my teacher knew! I'm just sorry i can't do that anymore!
hugs!

I started at 30 with beginner salsa after finishing up grad. school and realizing there was more to life than books. After 3 yrs of failing to take off, I'm just starting to discover that I do have two seperate feet :D

Started latin and ballroom at 13 - no previous dance experience. I wish I had started earlier, but doesn't everybody say that? :)
