What You Like Most About Leads/Follows

Hugs at the end of a dance w/ someone you always see on a certain night at a certain place. Makes me feel like we're friends even though we don't really get to know eachother outside of dancing.
 
I agree with most of the stuff the others here wrote :)

But I`d also like to add how nice it is to have a follower be so gracious and pleasant about everything, eventhough I`m not dancing well or not up to their level :)

I have experienced that too. It's a nice, warm feeling that you tie to your fondest dance places.
 
You don't/didn't live in Pittsburgh do you? I know someone by that name.. well that name if she married her boyfriend who was my roommate. Not you huh? lol
 
I like a lead that I feel comfortable with enough to give up total control and follow him completely. When you are in the hold of such a partner, it's just fun, like being on a wonderful ride. In the case of someone who is more of a beginner, I'll give him lots of leeway, of course-but I prefer that he does not constantly apologize for each thing he feels he has done 'wrong' during our dance. After all, he is just starting out, and I want some credit for being patient and tolerant.
 
When she creates a connection perfectly with you. She is able to absorb the energy, use it, and redirect it back to you. Thus taking two individuals and creating a harmonious system of one.
