How are you, today?

up early (oh God thirty), 4 grandchildren up, dressed, packed, breakfast fed, kids, folding and packing, tic toc tic toc - got to get to Long Beach!!! tic toc, hugs and kisses, climb into two cars, luggage, more kisses, little hugs. Negotiate the freeways (GRRWWWW thank God for the car pool lane) as I ponder - Ontario Airport is 15 minutes from house yet we're driving to Long Beach because the plane is non-stop. (stop pondering). Drop off - curb side,,,daughter swoops into me, tears, huge hugs, and gives me early birthday present - an M&Ms acoustical guitar. oh myyyy! Haven't played since my early 20's. How am I today? realizing how quiet the house is. Playing a guitar. And I'm realizing how long this post is but bear with me...just this once. hugs to all, safe travels my dears, thank God for my friends DFers and all.
 
After last nights shenanigans with a spider in my bed (see whining thread) I am an emotional wreck and tired.

I will be writing a letter of complaint to the spider queen!
 
Wishing people could be a tad more tolerant and accepting of the LGBT community, but otherwise pretty good.
Also tired.
