Salsa in Spain - Costa Del Sol

Hi everyone,
I will be going on vacation in Spain, to the south - Costa Del Sol. I think the area is called Malaga. Specifically we will be staying in the city of Marbella. Can anyone tell me where I can dance salsa there?? I found one page of information: gomarbella.com/salsa, but I don't know how current the information is. If anyone has any more information, please let me know! Thanks a lot!

He Dancergirl.. Did you go?
I'm thinking about Malaga, but I only wanne go to a place where there are also good salsa-parties.
The main thing will be learning Spanish
In the nights I wanne talk, socialise and of course dance a lot
During the day I wanne relax at the beach

So did you enjoy?
Is there anybody else with experience in Malaga or another great Spanish place?

Hi Ismile2you! We did go, and had a great time, I definately recommend it! We did a lot of sightseeing while there and even went into Morocco for a day. At night for salsa we went to Picaro de la Habana near Malaga and Ranchón Cubano near Marbella. Picaro de la Habana was this little bar/club inside a mall, we stayed there till like 5 am i think, and the place was filled with great dancers. Ranchon Cubano was this awesome place on the beach, it was a bit out of the way so only locals knew about it, it was awesome with the band playing and the waves crashing :) There's definately a salsa scene there. You can find more info on the page I posted in the other post, we contacted Alfonso on the page and he was able to help us with where to go, we tried meeting up, but couldn't find him when we went to the club. Good luck

Thanks... Sounds like you had a great time. You helped me to make up my mind. Than Malaga will have all I want:
a good language school
nice weather
the beach
and salsa salsa salsa....

I almost can not wait. This will be the first time for me to do such an intensive Language course.. Without dancing the whole night I would not survive ;)

I could not find what you meant about Alfonso and other info on the site? Maybe you can help me out with that?
