OK, I was trying to look at how to pick competition costumes and I got an error message that I am not allowed to view that page.

OK, I am getting two types of error messages.

"Appropriate competition wear" link gave me

We have recently upgraded the Dance Forums from phpBB to vBulletin. As a result this page url is no longer valid. However, this page still exists in the new forum. Please use the search link above, and you will likely find not only the original thing you were looking for, but much more, as the Dance Forums has wonderful wealth of information encompassing over 200,000 Posts.

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

OK, as far as the vB comment, I think that indicates that we need to search for that particular thread and re-link to the new url. I thought we'd done that for all, but its easy enough to see how a couple could have been missed.

As for the access question/comment, my question is if your user CP did is set to show all threads? If not, then maybe the probloem is simply that the thread is just older than your current settings recognize.

Where do I change the threads setting? I haven't modified my user CP beyond some basic settings.

In User CP go to "Edit Options" and then sroll down to "Thread Display Options." The last variable in that category is "Default Thread Age Cut Off," which you'll want to make sure is set to "Show all threads." May or may not be the isuue, but I hope that helps.
