Salsa in Hotlanta?

Hi all,

In a month or so, I will be going to Atlanta for a friends wedding, but I think i will have a couple of nights (maybe Thrs-Sat) free....I do not know the area at all, they are getting married somewhere called the trolley barn......so any leads to salsa clubs in Atlanta would be great!

Right off the top of my head, I'd say the best places to go are the Sanctuary on Friday night and then Latin Sol on Saturday Night. However, if you happen to come on the 2nd or last Saturday of the month, it's better to go to the Sanctuary on Saturday because on those days they have a social from 7pm-10pm. They play nothing but salsa (and maybe 1 Cha Cha if you're lucky) until 10pm, no smoking, no alcohol until the club officially opens at 10pm. The cover is $5 before 8:30, whereas if you came on a regular saturday it would open at 10pm and the cover would be $10.
