gratitude thread

butt-covering sweaters!

If, while inebriated, it suddenly seems like a good idea to participate in a group trip to the bathroom to weigh yourselves...just.don't. Like I needed any more reasons to be self conscious. But...I have my butt-covering sweater, so life is good!

Snow, inches and inches of light, powdery snow. You know the kind that sparkles like the fake snow around Santa's chair at the mall before Christmas? It covers all the blemishes of the landscape and makes it look smooth and new.

'Course driving in it tomorrow morning will be another story...
 
Grateful for that warm-fuzzy feeling I get when my gray cat comes up to me while I'm sitting at the computer, meows, and then snuggles against me for attention.

(Not so grateful when that turns to walking in front of my face and stepping on the keyboard, but oh well.)

Now, after a day of sunshine, seven inches of snow nearly completely gone. Enjoyed the snow while it happened, don't have to put up with the slush and refreezing later. I love Colorado.
