Qualifying for 2013 USA Dance Nationals

last year they were updated on the fly as each NQE occured. that is how i tracked who my competition would be in each division for natls last year

why the change?? too much work??

I'm slightly confused. So far as I can tell, it's updated to reflect the results at least as recent as Carolina. (It might be more, but that's the one and only NQE I've done this year. Hence it's the only one I'd previously checked.) Is it just a case of more recent NQEs not having been updated yet? Are you sure you don't have an old version of the spreadsheet cached or something?

Question if there is a 6 couple final (straight final) then how many of those couples qualify? I thought it was 75% so only 1-4 would qualify?

It's actually the top 5 couples that qualify in a 6 couple final. From the above-referenced secion of the rulebook:

c. Mathematical rounding based at .50 (point-five-zero) and above. For example: In an event with 6 couples entered (6 x 75% = 4.5) therefore 5 couples will qualify.
