I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I got my makeup done by a pro and it looked great, I used the same liquid foundation and instead of making me look like I have flawless skin, it just ended up looking like I have zits with makeup covering them. ***.

double you tee eff!!! :)

I think its what I'm using to apply it.
My fb photo now is from that night. Best I ever looked in my life. That photo is never coming down! lol

Biden was caught napping while the President was speaking about the budget crisis. Granted he's heard it all before and maybe he is in meetings around the clock but the way to prevent this is simple: you stand up. It is something learned in the military but I'm sure someone could have clued him in by now. Someone probably has but he forgot.

This isn't very nice of me.

Am I the only person on DF who still has a landline? With one of those super long curly cords? I untangled it just this way *today*.
*looove*

haven't had a landline for years, but it's deeply missed. and have been considering re-instituting one. nothin' like that landline connection. too bad they're so expensive these days... psh.

i'd put a big black phone on the wall in the kitchen, with a gazillion-foot cord (i bet i could find one on freecycle, heh), and another black one (or mebbe princess pink...) next to my bed. ;)

hmmm...seems to me that someone who has accomplished what he has ...and lives the busy life that he does is entitled to a bit of fatigue...and is probably not terribly concerned who it annoys...but knock yourself out

oooh yesterday was the two year anniversary of my very first ever dance lesson!
What do I have to show for two years of dancing?
The answer is apparently nothing.
I was told by a friend who has been dancing with me all along that he has noticed zero change in my dancing. For all the lessons and all the times I felt so proud of the progress I'd made, it turns out I'm no better than I was on day one.
Initially this was totally crushing to my ego (it still is somewhat) because I interpretted it as he was saying I dance like a beginner, in other words, someone who just started and is not very good at all. He did say that I was always good, even when I started, but that I haven't changed at all since.
I asked a friend who was an instructor and he said he agreed. I never got any better.
It makes me wonder if I even have potential, or I'm just imaging that I can dance and I should just move on because it's not for me.

I discovered recently that they're not routinely putting the bags in the seat-back pockets anymore. (I used to check every time I got on a plane, but then I found some pills that worked for me, so I got complacent.) Luckily when I was on the little bitty bumpy plane a few months ago I was able to get the flight attendant's attention in time. But seriously, how is this a reasonable cost-saving measure?
It's probably because a lot of people were stealing them. I know more than one person who has a collection of them from various airlines all over the world.
