I'll just join in and share my experience as a "dancing engineer". I find I learn new stuff very quickly both from instructors and video, but I have a hard time being spontaneous and interpreting the music well. I'm a swing dancer and when there is a break in the music I struggle coming up...

Hi there. I'm also looking to buy a camcorder to film dancing and I've been looking at the GR-D270. Have you had time to test it out? Does it perform well enough in poor lighting? Any other things of interest you can share?
