To just cough up the appalling sum and stay at the comp hotel, because the convenience is worth it. Otherwise, all free time is spent shuttling between 2 locations. I have supposedly "learned" this lesson about 4 times now but somehow it hasn't stuck. (>_<)

+1. I also wear 1403 and have found that they stretch a good bit, especially if I sweat a lot. My current pair is a 5 (I wear 8 or 8.5 in a street shoe) but I am going to try a 4.5 next time.

It depends on how annoyed I am at the time. Hee. Very little pressure is needed. Your arm is just propped there; I think I am more conscious of trying to stretch away from it than of pressing it down/in at all.
