This is just a thought: a different kind of milonga.

Not often, maybe at every full moon, plus maybe Halloween and definitely every February 29th. We could attend...

a Widdershins Milonga where the line of dance runs clockwise round the room. Physically and intellectually challenging with more giros and corner turns to the closed side of the embrace. Plus the leader often stepping, to his right, outside the follower to lead a mirrored version of the traditional cross.

Finally, sometimes, say when the dance is held on April 1st for instance, half the room could dance normal and the other half could dance widdershins.

Oh, wait, that's called Fridays at Negracha.

I think its a sensible proposal. Argentina is in the southern hemisphere and we are in the Northern therefore following the coriolis effect of weather systems we should be going around the other way

Since social dancing originated in the northern hemisphere, it's the Argentines who should be going the other direction.

According to the coriolis effect, CCW should be "standard" direction in the northern hemisphere and CW in the southern one.

Two way traffic! Outside lane goes CCW and inside lane goes CW (you Brits can do it the opposite)
