October 29th, Good News Update for Alberto Paz!


#fullpost{display:none;}Last evening the breathing apparatus was removed! His son arrived from Denver and there is no doubt Alberto is very happy to see Gina and Alberto Jr, as well as Valorie!

Today Valorie advised Alberto is quite lucid, although he has no recollection of the events leading up to his being in the hospital. He is still under critical watch, but progress is being made, he is now down to 1 machine from the ~ 12 systems!

He has had a brain scan, and the angiogram was delayed until discussions with his NOLA doctor.

Thank you for continuing to send all your prayers, emails, texts, phone calls, warm wishes and support!

My partner has been in touch with Valorie via telephone, so I can vouch for both the validity of their situation and for the validity of her PayPal e-mail address. This isn't one of those strange Internet scams where people tell you they're stranded in another country.

This is an extremely serious and very real situation. I hope you can help. We're all dancers, so we're all BROKE, but if we all send in just a few dollars each, it will all make a huge difference.

One week ago Alberto lay on the Calgary airport floor dying, and tonight he is resting well on the recovery ward. Thank you everyone for prayers and donations. We are getting closer to getting him home for treatment. xo xo
