I feel that even for "this era of Biagi," one could do it slower and it would be fine.

I'd personally dance it slower than Chicho - so no qualms about that, just that while there are flowing parts for sure, dancing the staccato parts (which are far more prevalent) in a smooth and flowing way is just weird.

I prefer smooth and flowing to tap-tap-tap staccato steps and don't understand..

Not necessarily slow and smooth, but we are not tap dancing. That's what I was driving at.
