Downloading YouTube video to an audio file

Actually, it will be converting a video to an audio file... wait to you see what I do with it!

If you are running Windows, then Sound Recorder (that comes standard with Windows) can be used to record any audio that plays on the computer.

Real Player (free) can download video or audio files (as long as there aren't any DRM issues).

There are probably a zillion other free apps that will do what you want as well.
