The diagrams seem pretty straightforward...
1. When waiting to enter the floor, It's ok to stand at the edge of the floor, but not in the path of oncoming couples. Also enter into a gap in the flow and not directly in front of an oncoming couple.
2. Don't veer about the dance floor. Stay in your track. You may change tracks if there is a clear gap you can enter in to.

4. Don't leave a lot of space between you and the couple in front. Also, don't dance too close to the couple in front. You may overtake slow dancers, but only on the left (relative to the line of dance).
5. The leader should be aware of other couples in his immediate vicinity.
6. The tracks should not be too far apart, nor should they be too close together.
