Laughter during tango

When laughing in a manner that does not disturb the other dancers, why not?

Personally, it depends on the music, at least partly. One of my favorite tangueras laughs during dancing for 2 main reasons: 1) she thinks the leader is making her look ridiculous, so it's an embarrassed laughter, 2) she likes the musicality of the leader.
She often laughs when she dances with me, and I hope it's not because of the first reason. I'm pretty sure it's not, because she's notoriously picky and would not even cabeceo me if reason 1 was the case. I particularly like dancing to mellow kind of music like Tanturi-Campos or Laurenz-Podesta with her, and the music is so serious and touching that it's almost impossible to laugh unless there's an external factor. I remember I was almost crying at the end of a Tanturi-Campos tanda with her, because the last song, Recien, resonated with me. I identified with the lyrics, and I was moved by the emotion in Campos's voice, the wallowing unison of the violins and bandoneons.

On the other hand, I find it impossible to dance to Troilo instrumentals without cracking up by the end, since the music incites so much playfulness. Same goes for some D'Arienzo-Echague, especially the later works in the early 50s, like Bien Pulenta, Se-pe-no-po-ri-pi-ta-pa, El Hipo, or El nene del abasto among other unforgettably hilarious works.....

Edit: How could I forget..... Cacareando by Orquesta Tipica Victor is funny to dance to as well!
