For Sale: Ballroom tailsuit made by Aleksandr
This beautifully made suit served me well for a number of years. I kept it for some time after purchasing a new suit (also by Aleksandr) in case I needed a backup, but the time has come to pass it on.
I am 6 ft 1 in tall, 175 lbs, and normally wear a shirt with a 16 - 16 1/2 in collar and 34 in sleeve. The suit has accommodated weight variations of +/- 10 lbs.
The suit is made from English wool fabric with a subtle pinstripe pattern in the weave. It comes with the usual ballroom "waistcoat" as shown in the photos. I am including a Choice of London tailsuit shirt, also shown, as well as an adjustable bow tie. The shirt has a 41 cm (16 in) neck size.
The purchaser will need to supply a detachable collar and studs, cuff links and shirt studs, button-on suspenders, and a handkerchief or pocket square.
Asking $200. I will pay shipping within the continental US. (In the SF Bay area, I would prefer a direct transfer.) Purchaser would pay return shipping if needed.
