I've danced sometimes in classy one-shot milongas in Trocadero palace. Marble columns, red carpets, dancing in tango suit, and so on. It felt different, we made nice photos and all. The dance was not great though. Too much light, too large room (can't hear the music), marble floor too hard and slippery, followers always afraid of someone walking on their evening dress, and so on.
