Hmmm, err that was really Walter Gonzalez the master of outside parallel dancing who I'd like to emulate...Sorry, for confusing the issue but I posted the caveat (in mis suenios) which means (in my dreams)...anyway, you bring up some interesting points. My impression is that his off-center embrace is what makes all the dynamism, in his dance, happen. I don't think that he would have the (cantilevered) freedom he has if he was centered with his partner..I will be looking at this video again and again..of course I will see it differently next week. mil gracias por la realimentacion....thanks a million for the feedback!

I'm taking down (deleting) these test videos from the internet. I'm satisfied that I now know how to take, upload and post them here. Thanks for the help. In the future, I will use them to video my practices and use them for problem solving.:notworth:

Hi, my practice partner and I had a really good dance session today. Like Dorchester noted; it makes a lot more sense to video myself with a partner. I'm anxious to use the camara as a learning tool. Todays videos showed me that I was not collecting enough whenever I started to dance with lots of assertiveness..but I was pleasantly surprised to see our walk was quite good. So, I'm thinking only vis a vis the couple now. As it takes a half our to upload a minutes worth of video, I didn't upoad any today but in the near future I will. Another surprise was that we danced the Vals pretty well...and the first time!.... She is Swiss so that may be a help also she was born on skis. Tomorrow nite's Milonga will see the return of the Trio from Europe and they are good. I will try to video a dance there. Look for a new thread soon....called 'Video Clinic'!
