Uh, ask him if he wants you to keep Tony Hawk? Then if he does, tell him it's one or the other; you won't be getting him both. No fuss no muss.

Thanks. I'm such a softy. The decision is made. Tony Hawk goes back. Final Fantasy on order. His friends? Out of luck. *grin*

Cleaning out mum's office...took us an hour to get all the stuff out of the office...oh the spiders. So many spiders.
Now we're moving stuff around and putting it all back in.

The thing about oatmeal is, you've got to put so much crap in it to make it palatable that it can no longer be considered healthy. Seems to me you might as well either eat spackle or just go for a donut, given the oatmeal options.

And how did Au Bon Pain manage to get oatmeal to be this gluey? I see some actual oats in there, but most of it seems to be connective snot. What the heck?

Seeing True Grit movie with sis after we have a lunch date today! and leaving for West Coast Swing New Years Eve camp and party in Palm Springs tomorrow. Happy Happy Happy.

Try making it at home with slightly less milk than called for, stevia for sweetener, cinnamon, and / or raisins. I think that still keeps it relatively healthy (until somebody declares that stevia causes Elephant Man Syndrome, dropsy, and hairy knuckles...)

honey, raisins or fresh fruit (or even frozen fruit, jsut no sugar added) are all good options.

I made my last batch with a spoonful of some no sugar raspberry preserves, was great. That works for grits too

Went to my old teacher's milonga recently. Wow, now that I'm more confident in my dancing, it is a lot more fun. She plays a really neat selection of music, not just the same ol' Best of the AT 30s, 40s, and 50s stuff you hear all the time. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but who doesn't want to dance to a tango version of Sweet Dreams Are Made of This? ;)

Oooooh! I.WANT!!!

A friend of mine made me an awesome mixed CD for xmas. It's got "I Want to See You Again" by Norah Jones. Bittersweetness--that was a frequent lesson song used when I was taking lessons. So awesome to dance to, so many good memories...haven't gotten to dance to it in a couple of years. :-(
