Is there any way we can know who donated the items (original owner) in the auction?

I'm interested in several items but sure wish I could ask questions about them! Would it be entirely impractical to ask questions here or should we have some sort of questions thread?

regarding the items I donated...pictures will be along as soon as I find a minute to get the items to my competent fellow admin who is overseeing that...beyond that, folks are free to ask whatever they like

Probably based on the field where a photo would/could go, but I'll be sure to mention it to the tech "department."

I have added an item, but can the details be edited and can a picture be added later? We are offering a brand new pair of Stephanie shoes from our web site but didn't get a picture added.

Seems that pictures are limited to the moment you make the ad. After that pictures are not possible. But hopefully our technicians can adjust that.

What about descriptions?

I am not sure YOU can do any editing of the ad after you hit publish. That is probably a good idea so that ads are not changed throughout the auction... bait and switch ya know!

Supermods or Admins can though. So if you need descriptions updated just pm me. We can handle any updates for you as needed.

Okay. That makes a lot of sense. I got excited about getting it posted and I don't know if it is descriptive enough, that's all.
I will be adding something else, but not until tomorrow.

I am wondering if there is any inerest this year in gift certificates to our on line store. We did this last year. I am Happy to donate a couple in addition to the shoes, if they would auction off? I just don't want to come across as self-serving!

dancerman, I think the donation of certificates (and of course the shoes) would be quite generous. I would think it would serve both DF and those who support it.

Not sure what the past history of certificates auctioning off is, perhaps one of the admins or other mods could comment?
