There are a number of abbreviations on dance forums that must be confusing to the new member - gee, I find them confusing now after nearly 16K posts. The objec here is to build a list of common and not so common abbreviations.

The trick is to list them here without making this thread too confusing. The way it works is we start a list of abbreviations and each poster can add one (and only one) with each post. Multiple posts are allowed but leave some for others - this is not an intelligence test

IN order to keep track copy everything from the dotted line above to the end of the post (that ensures the instructions get carried over) and add your abbreviation. Note COPY do not QUOTE - we don't want all those breaks. And try to keep it neat. I'll do three to show the idea:
