Although i don't always share his views on particular films I do enjoy reading his reviews. That seemed particularly apposite. I reckon the dude should take up tango, sounds like he's 'been there, done that'. It also put the film in a different light for me. Did you see Veron's 'blink and you'd miss it' gypsy dancing in The Man Who Cried? Christina Ricci's a lucky girl!!

Nah, it's Princess Betty Draper from HBO's Mad Men. Think she's a bit too uptight for tango BUT... maybe if it's the Cuban Missile Crisis and she's had a gimlet or two....
Ha ha, no the 'lingerie ad' has passed me by, I'm afraid. I'll try and root out a Veron clip even though he's being a gypsy not a tanguero...

Appealing for blokes, eh? Hmmm, I wonder why?!
I must say, I can't stand all that 'touchy facey' stuff in performance (or touchy booby if you're Cesar Coelho/ Miriam Larici)... it's too 'in yer face', my view is that the dance is supposed to express those desires in dance form without actually explicitly touching in that way. Ick.
