For all the amateurs on the forum, I've just signed up for a year of unlimited practice for $360 at Dance Studio 101.

I dance out of Dance Studio 101 as well, just started yesterday. Maybe we can hook up sometime.

I'm thinking of checking it out...

we have to make sure to quickly populate it with standard couples before it becomes populated with the latin obstacles

Cut it out!! It's the Standard folk who are always getting in the way. And then they suddenly stop and mumble to each other, and start all over again.

hmmm.... I smell something fishy here...hmmm... :? Lots of talk about studio 101....hmmm...

No fish on sale here but it is not common that one can find a nice place to practice. I think we just want to share with all dancers when a bargain is found.

What's really funny is when you stop to avoid a collision, rewind and then have to stop again to avoid the exact same collision, because you both took the same amount of time to recycle.

Well. Then keep it to one thread. This at least the 3rd thread started on this topic. No matter how great a bargain, multiple threads on a great dance studio offering very cheap rates is getting pretty annoying. Thanks. And this is for all of you people who have tried out dancestudio 101 and found it amazing. Please stop starting a new thread every couple days. Consider this a friendly warning.

I'm usually there thurs - sun. around 5 or 6. did you start the unlimited practice too? or are you taking classes there?

This latin obstacle will be visiting this weekend. Someone (trying to remember who) said for me to pm for directions from across the river. If someone remembers talking to me about this, would you mind pm'img me.

Take the Holland Tunnel from Jersey to Canal St. Follow Canal St to Broadway (going east). The studio is one block south of Canal at the corner. You should be able to find parking on the street.

I've got the annual unlimited but I am taking private lessons. I'll look for you the next time I am there.
