Another stoning Question

When I washed a gown many of the stones came off with the backs still on gown. Has anyone been successful with restoning over backs? I just cant see how I can get the backs off the nude stretch material portion of the gown. Would use still use a gemtac type of glue?

yes. I have many times. Still use Gem Tac. My stones glued right back on.

Great! Thanks so much for the quick response... My today project.. Seems to be going fine so far but I was just concerned that once I dance in the gown they would pop back off...
I am so happy there is somewhere I can go to ask these questions.

LOL, the gown is on a dress form and that is how I am doing this... Hope I dont glue the gown to the form!!

you can still glue over them but I reccommend not re-using the stones that don't have the backing anymore...b/c they seem to lose their sheen

Slip a plastic dry cleaner or trash bag over the dress form. Put dress over bag. Glue On!

You can often get away with gluing AB stones w/o backing onto the silver spot that remains on the gown, but any other stones look pretty crappy when you attempt this.
