Any other girly-girls out there?

I am SUCH a girly-girl...I love clothes, makeup, shoes (especially dance shoes...I think pygmalion is with me on that one :D ) and all the "froo-froo" parts of dancing, lol  People on my team always make fun of me because it takes me FOREVER to get ready for a competition because I fuss with my outfit, hair, nails, makeup, etc. for HOURS  Does anyone else relate?

are you sure NeoDevin???

I'm not completely devoid of girly-girlness. I too like to feel beutiful and attractive-- like most folk. At the same time at school I work as a carpender for theatre so it is sort of impossible to play the role as a delicate flower and remain helpful.

I think I strike a pretty good balance and remain considerably sensible.

Funny story though-- for work we had to move a large stack of 3/4" Plywood sheets. There were three of us working and when we were just about done one of the guys, with a smile on his face, said "You're a diesel!" ... I'm fairly sure he meant it as a compliment :?
... so I'm as girly as a MACK truck?

I confess. I too am a girly-girl. At least some of the time. I've streamlined the whole getting dressed/putting on makeup thing. But I think there are definitely times when only big time girly-girl will do. Like when I have some intense flirting to do, I'm seriously into the batting eyelashes, "you big strong man, you" mentality.  Works for me.

I can foresee more "proposals" coming your way Jenn.

I'm a big fat girly-girl too - when need be. 8)

I "caught" (or did he catch me?) my husband with my fuzzy pink "man-hunting" sweater from Bebe.... I had to retire it once we got married...

I don't think you can be a "manly-girl" (?) and wear feathers on your dress.... Well, unless you are a drag queen, but that's another topic alltogether......

ETA: "You cannot make another post so soon after your last; please try again in a short while." WTH?

What? Are you trying to tell me that as a shodan twice over with a degree in astrophysics I'm not allowed to wear feathers? Next thing you'll be telling me that glitter nailpolish is a big no-no!

Cheers
Sarah. <Seeking balance. Achieving confusion.>
