Hello!
Had brain storm this afternoon and I decided to write a short story for a magazine competition. The theme is "uplifting" so I thought I'd write about a woman who finds herself suddenly single after many years and discovers something in Tango music and dance that resonates and leads her to feel positive about facing the future with out needing a partner. I think I should do some more research for this, and because I don't want to put my tango pals on the spot, i wondered if you guys would be interested? Would people be willing to post me reactions to situations or statements to see if they ring true as time goes on? I'm sure this isn't a new theme, but I think the story differs depending on how you tell it...

Hope no one actually is an author and does a Jeffrey Archer on me...

Anyway, if anyone knows about these things and would vet it for me before I send it in...

Cheers!

Have written numerous articles over the years , for dance publications, and with my ex a book on basic ballroom figures ., but do not think that qualifies me to edit .

fire away! I used to be an editor of a newsletter and I have dabbled in writing on and off, so feel free to pm me your literary masterpiece.

tip: write as far as possible from your own experience.
ignore 'the tango lesson' and do your own thing.
